Introduction

Naam Agency is a creative digital agency (I co-founded) from The Netherlands focused on helping ambitious startups evolve and existing companies grow by making the digital world more human and accessible.

At the end of 2019, as digital creative director, I completely redesigned and prototyped the interactions for the new Naam website. It's so fresh, it's not even live yet. The reason for this complete redesign was to be able to present case studies more easily and get a chance to properly show our culture and services.

The Website

Designing the Visual Voice

Our website is one of those places where our visual identity is most visible. With our existing logo and typeface kept in place, I decided to add a few specific visual elements such as lines and dots to create more hierarchy within our pages. After implementing those new elements on the website, we also decided to add them to our existing catalogue of brand collateral.

How might we align our new services and make customers aware of our case studies?

It's All In the Details

The whole website is built with re-usable components, making it easy for us to duplicate content and (micro)interactions in case we're going to expand the website in the future. This is great for testing effectiveness, producing content and general design and accessibility consistency.

All-in-One. A True Home.

Naam's homepage engages, inspires and informs the visitors. When they've collected their jaws back from the floor (humble brag...ahem), there are plenty of options to explore further.

Studying Case Studies

The whole website is built around the case studies. A clear system allows us to easily present full cases and create new visual components.

Building Components

Case Studies are our bread and butter. It's why most of our clients pick us. Keeping those studies up to date is crucial but always the last thing on our list, so we decided to make it a lot easier for ourselves.

I created a complete library of mockups, building blocks (components) and instructions (basically a 'how-to') so that everyone at Naam can create studies with little effort.

The Business

New Services. New Business.

I help ambitious companies grow, startups evolve and people navigate difficult topics and content. I research, design, draw, prototype, write and code. In my spare time I love to design typographic shirts.
